Love Letter for Brita

Sweet Brita -
I'm not much of a writer but I wanted to just write you a quick letter before you come into this world. I want you to know how much you are truly loved by not only me, daddy and Denver but by SO MANY other people in your life. People that are family, friends, and folks at the church. They all love you so much.

I can't wait to meet you. To see your sweet face and your little hands and feet. I can't wait till you are home and we can play, and show you your room, backyard and Denver is so excited to show you all of his toys.

I have prayed for you before you were even in my belly. I pray that you come SOON and I pray that you are healthy and free from anything that causes you upsets in the world. I pray that you follow in the path Jesus already has mapped out for you. I know that you will be such an amazing little girl. You are already quite determined inside my belly. You're always on the move, and want mommy and daddy to know you are there.
I so badly want you to grow up seeing Jesus in your family. Seeing his love through daddy and me, and learning from us. I want you to know Jesus and know prayer. I pray that God gives you happiness and compassion. Ease of meeting new friends in school and I pray for those friends to know Jesus too. I pray that like your big brorther, you can bring a smile to someones face just by being you. By being who you are. I pray that you never have to encounter pain - but when you do - that you can handle it with strength and power. I pray that your spirit is bold and that you always stay right on track - and if you get off track I know that God will grant you the direction you need. May you shine like the stars and always stay true to who you are.
Brita - you are so loved by our heavenly Father. No matter what may happen in life He is yours and you are His child and He will always have His arms reached out to give you comfort, love, compassion, strength, ability, humility, and whatever else you could imagine. He will provide.

I love you sweet girl more than you will ever know.
Come soon.

With All my love and So much more,
Mommy
